Within the preparation of the upcoming twenty-first Conference of the Chiefs of General Staff (CGS) of the Armies of Member Countries of the USA-Adriatic Charter (A-5), today the second meeting of the working group for implementation was held where besides the members of the ARM as hosts, also representatives of the armies of the USA and member countries of A-5 were present.
At the meeting the members of the work group of the Adriatic Charter reviewed the list of activities for 2017 and the memorandum of understanding for the joint exercises and trainings on the territories of the member countries of A-5. Special emphasis was given on the upcoming exercise “Joint Reaction 17”, which will be realized within this format.
At today’s meeting which was held in Skopje, the details related to the conference organization and the main topic according to which the 21st Conference of CGS of the Armies of Member Countries of USA–Adriatic Charter will be organized were also discussed.
At the conference, whose host will be the Republic of Macedonia in the period from 12th September to 14th September, participants will be the CGS of the Armies of Member Countries of the USA–Adriatic Charter (Macedonia, Croatia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro), as well as representatives of the AF of the USA for Europe, the Allied Command of NATO in Naples, the Commands of the National Guards (NG) from the USA federal states which are partners of the A-5 countries, and countries observers (Slovenia, Serbia and Kosovo).
