The third regional seminar “Cyber Endeavor” is being held from the 21st to 23rd of June, 2016 at the Army House in Skopje, organized by the US Army European Command and hosted by the Army of the Republic of Macedonia. The topic of the regional seminar is “Networks Accreditation.”
Representatives of 19 countries are taking part in the regional seminar including the ARM and Macedonian representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Agency for Electronic Communications and the Directorate of Classified Information.
The Seminar was opened by the Head of Signals Section at the GS of ARM, Colonel Dushko Nestorov. At his opening speech he pointed out the importance of cyber defense for the security of a country.
The facilitators at the seminar are world eminent professionals in the field of cyber defense working for multinational companies and security organizations.
This annual seminar is one of the series of seminars organized by the US Army European Command and each one is hosted by a different country. The focus of the seminars is the cooperation in cyber defense among the armies and other related organizations, strengthening of national defense capabilities, and improving the deployment readiness in multinational environment in support of peacekeeping missions, crisis response and international exercises.
