Today, 8 August, marks the 14th anniversary of the death of the ten Macedonian Army members at Karpalak.
On this occasion, delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the ARM General Staff led by the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski, laid a wreath of fresh flowers on the memorial plaque at Karpalak.
A delegation of the Ministry of Defence and the ARM General Staff led by the Joint Operations Command Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Stojan Dimchov, laid a wreath of fresh flowers in front of the complex “Karpalak” in the centre of Prilep.
In the attack on the military forces at Karpalak, on the 8th of August 2001, Marko Despotoski, Nane Naumovski, Sasho Kitanoski, Branko Sekuloski, Goran Minoski, Erdovan Shabanoski, Ljube Grujoski, Darko Veljanoski, Pece Sekuloski and Vebi Rushidoski – all members of the reserve Army forces from the Prilep garrison lost their lives.
