Sergeant Major of ARM Dragan Stojanovski took participation at the 9th Conference of Sergeant Majors of the Army of European Armies held in Bled, Republic of Slovenia from 20th until 22nd of April 2015.
The conference was attended by Sergeant Majors of the armies of more than 30 countries in Europe and NATO commands. Besides the exchange of experiences and ideas in the work of the NCO corps, conference participants were introduced to the program of the U.S. Army Sergeant Majors Academy (USASMA), whose representatives offered exchange of instructors and development of partnership programs with the US states.
On this very important event, the Sergeant Majors had the opportunity to exchange experiences with regard to the selection and preparation of units to carry out international missions. In addition, it was a great opportunity to promote the NCO Corps of the armies of Europe. One of the topics was the exploration of possibilities for participation in courses for NCO corps in the NATO school in Oberammergau and in the NATO center for mountain operations.
