From today until the 25th of April, there will be Media Training workshop – basic level at the Regional Public Relations Center (RPRC) within Ministry of Defense. It will be conducted for battalion commanders of subordinate commands and units of GS and ARM.
The attendees of the workshop will be familiarized with basic communications skills, conveying of key message to the public and the role of the media in the society. Additionally, they will be trained in giving a public statement, interviewing and writing public announcements.
The trainers are certified instructors for media training at the RPRC and ARM. They will conduct the training through presentations and tasks which are specially designed for this kind of attendees.
These newly acquired media training skills should improve the cooperation of the army with the local media as well as to increase the transparency of ARM.
