At the barracks “Chojlija” in Petrovec, there was a handover ceremony on the occasion of handover of the duty Commander of Tank Battalion (TBn), within the 1st Mechanised Infantry Brigade (1st MIBde), Joint Operations Command.
The new commander of TBn Lieutenant Colonel Toni Zlatevski, who was in the J-7 in JOC, will succeed Lieutenant Colonel Toni Sedmakov.
The ceremony was attended by the JOC Deputy Commander Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski, local community representatives within the area of responsibility of the unit, and representatives of the legal and civilian sector, with whom the unit has been cooperating.
1st MIBde Colonel Zoran Mileski said that the tank battalion with its capabilities is among the most highly organized military units and as such marks the development of ARM.
The former commander of TBn, Lieutenant Colonel Toni Sedmakov expressed his gratitude to the service personnel of the unit for their support, and the new commander Lieutenant Colonel Toni Zlatevski said that he would put all his efforts in improving the results of the units.
At the end of the military ceremony there was a ceremonial handover of the unit’s flag.
