Today, 27th August (Thursday) 2015 at the barracks NH “Kuzman Josifivski Pitu” in Tetovo the service personnel of the 3rd Mechanised Infantry Battalion (3rdMIBn) celebrated the Day of the Unit- 27th August.
The celebration was attended by members of the Joint Operations Command, 1st MIBde Commander, commanders of ARM brigades and battalions, former commanders and all the members of the unit, representatives of the War Veterans Association of Tetovo, representatives of the local government, political parties, civil associations, religious communities, governmental and non-governmental associations and their attendance contributed to the significance of this event.
The 3rd MIBn Commander in his speech talked briefly about the history of the battalion and its development, which is a continuation and nurturing of the traditions set by the 15th Infantry Brigade.
The 1st MIBde Commander Colonel Zoran Milevski congratulated the day of the units to its members and also highlighted that:” Today the 3rd MIBn, owing to the enthusiasm, knowledge and the youth of its members represents a mobile and efficient battalion, ready to fulfill all the current challenges and needs.”
