The ARM personnel of the Joint Operations Command and the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1MIBde) joined the celebration of the 11th of October – the National Uprising Day in the garrisons of their area of responsibility.
The Association of National Liberation War Fighters of Prilep County organized a Meeting of Generations in Prilep. It was held on the 7th of October and the guests were Deputy Commander of the Joint Operations Command, Brigadier General Muhamet Racaj and the Prilep Garrison Commander, Colonel Zarko Risteski.
Honoring the celebration of the Uprising Day, on the 9th of October, 2014, there was a voluntary blood donation action at the military barracks Mirche Acev. Soldiers and NCOs once again proved that they are humanitarians by donating 80 units of blood
On the 10th of October, 2014, on the Stone Stage in the center of Prilep, the Army Band of ARM had a concert as a part of the celebration program of the National Uprising Day. Afterwards, the traditional improvised assault of the Memorial museum “Police Station” was demonstrated by the artillery battalion personnel.
Celebrating the National Uprising Day, delegations of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Macedonia and the Army of Republic of Macedonia laid fresh flowers at monuments in the garrisons of Kumanovo, Prilep, Tetovo and Shtip on the 11th of October, 2014.
The MoD and ARM delegations headed by the 1MIBde Commander, Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski laid fresh flowers at the Memorial Ossuary in Kumannovo; the delegation of the garrison Prilep laid fresh flowers at the statues of Metodija Andonov-Chento, Kuzman Josifofski –Pitu and the Tomb of the Undefeated; the delegation of garrison Shtip laid flowers at the Hall of National Heroes and the statue of Revolution; and the delegation of the garrison Tetovo laid fresh flowers at the statue of the Revolution in Tetovo.
