In accordance with the training plan calendar for 2014, on 23 June 2014 at the command of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Battalion (1MIBn) in Kumanovo, a quarterly training briefing for the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade (1st MIB) was held.
The briefing represents a planned and regular activity on which the 1st MIB Commander, Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski was familiarized in detail with the level of realization of the content and activities in the field of training and the level of training of the subordinate units in the past quarter.
The quarterly training briefing in addition to the Brigade commander was attended by the chiefs of sections of the command and the headquarters, the commanders, and the command sergeant majors from the subordinate units, and the Chief of the J-7 of the Joint Operations Command.
The briefing on the training of their units for the 2nd quarter of 2014 was carried out by the commanders of the subordinate units. During the briefing were emphasized the realized central activities, problems encountered, suggestions for overcoming them and training priorities for the next quarter. With a brief overview of the past quarter, the Commander was acquainted with the extent and level of training of the units and the planned training in the next quarter of 2014.
The training briefing was rounded off with conclusions by the participants specifying tasks for the next quarter of 2014. In addition to this activity, the ASNOM memorial in Pelince and the church “St. Great Martyr George “in the village of Staro Nagoricani, Kumanovo were visited.
