On 14 June 2014, in coordination with the Association of citizens “Porech Gathering” from Skopje and the municipality of Makedonski brod, members of the 2nd Logistics battalion, part of the Logistics Support Brigade, contributed to the realization of the jubilee cultural event “10th Porech cultural gathering”.
As logistics support of the event, which was held in the village of Slansko – Makedonski brod, members of the 2nd logistics battalion prepared and served food (the well-known military beans) for 1500 people.
The soldiers also put up tents to receive guests, as well as for the needs of the blood-donating campaign which was realized in cooperation with the Red Cross of the Republic of Macedonia and the Blood Transfusion Institute of the Republic of Macedonia, as part of the event. Part of the present members of the ARM joined the campaign by donating blood.
In this way, the units and the members of the Army of the Republic of Macedonia, as part of the civil-military cooperation, once more provided the necessary support and help to cultural events organized by the non-governmental organizations and associations.
