Today, the 8th of May, 2014, Joint Operational Command (JOC) key personnel and first subordinate units visited the South East European University in Tetovo. At the visit, JOC commander Major General Metodija Velichkovski met the university pro-rector Andrew Goodspeed.
There were other people at the meeting including the Deputy Commander Brigadier General Muhamet Racaj, Chief of Staff Brigadier General Stojan Dimchov and 1stMIBde commander Brigadier General Pavle Arsoski. They talked about the possibilities of cooperation with the University based on a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Republic of Macedonia.
The key personnel of JOC had two lectures on “Republic of Macedonia on its way to Euro-Atlantic integrations” by prof. PhD Elizabeta Andreevska, and “NATO and EU integration” by prof. PhD Veton Ljatifi.
The University visit is a planned activity within the JOC meetings with JOC commander with first subordinate units and key personnel of the command in accordance with the Annual Working Plan.
Previously, as part of the excellent civil-military cooperation with higher educational institutions in Republic of Macedonia there was a visit and lectures connected to the defense at the University of “FON” in Skopje.
