In the period from 28.03 to 29.03.2019, the Chief of General Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski will pay a working visit to the Armed Forces of The Republic of Albania on the invitation of the Chief of General Staff of the Albanian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Bardil Kolchaku.
As part of the visit, General Gjurchinovski will attend the military celebration in Tirana on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Republic of Albania being a full-fledged NATO member.
The event is expected to be attended by more than 150 high military representatives, such as Ministers of Defence and Chiefs of General Staff of the NATO member-countries, and representatives of the NATO Command Structure.
This visit is an excellent opportunity to exchange opinions with the high military representatives, especially about their experience in the transition period of the armies which became members of NATO, where we will become the 30th full-fledged member after the ratification of the agreement by all member-countries.
