Today in the barracks in Stip, by laying fresh flowers in front of the bust of the great Macedonian revolutionary Jane Sandanski, by delegations of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Brigade, 2nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, Mayors from the zone of responsibility of 2nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, as well as by representatives of associations and religious communities from the town of Stip, was celebrated the patron day of the barracks “Jane Sandanski”.
On the occasion of the patronage day, the commander of the 1st MIB, Colonel Dragan Kovachki, congratulated the members of the barracks and Lieutenant Colonel Mirche Tasev, commander of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion, spoke about the character and work of Jane Sandanski.
After the speeches, the guests were organized a tactical and technical word on which was presented part of the equipment and armament of the units placed in the barracks in Stip, and previously in cooperation with the Red Cross, the members of the 2.mpb donated 67 blood units, once in a job they showed their humanity.
The celebration of the patron day, with their performances, was enriched by the city choir from Stip, cultural art company “Risto Donev” – the teacher from Stip and the students from High Music school “Sergei Mihajlov” from Stip.
