A five-day seminar on “Legislative Affairs in the Department of Defence” started today, at the Joint Operations Command (JOC).
On the first day, the seminar was attended by the Minister of Defence Mrs. Radmila Shekerinska, JOC Commander Major General Pavle Arsoski, Chargé d’Affaires at the U.S. Embassy in Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia Mrs. Micaela Schweitzer-Bluhm, members of the Parliamentary Committee on Defence and Security and General Staff of the Army.
At the seminar the speakers pointed out the challenges that the Ministry of Defence and the Army are facing in the process of acceding NATO. The JOC Commander presented the challenges that military leaders are facing in this process.
At the end of the first day the participants went around the facilities of the 1st Mechanized Infantry Battalion and the Reserve Forces Command.
The Seminar “Legislative Affairs in the Department of Defence” will be held from 24th -28th of June 2019.
