The Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski presented golden badges to members of the Army, doctors from the Military Medical Center, Major Dejana Shvraka and Major Zoran Chanakovski for the demonstrated professionalism and hard effort during the “Decisive Strike 19” exercise.
The members of the Army, Major Dejana Shvraka and Major Zoran Chanakovski were part of the Army medical teams that participated as medical support throughout the largest military exercise here “Decisive Strike 19” and owing to their expertise, professionalism and timely intervention they prevented serious health problems that could be life-threatening.
While presenting the recognitions General Gjurchinovski praised the effort and engagement of the entire personnel of the medical teams whose expertise and coordination with civilian health organizations contributed to executing an international military exercise without any serious health problems which is an enormous success for the army organization.
The exercise “Decisive Strike”, which was conducted from 15.05 to 15.07.2019, was attended by 2700 armed forces servicemen from six countries: Land, Air and Special Forces of the Republic of North Macedonia, the United States of America (The National Guard of Pennsylvania, 19th group for Special Operations and the Air Force of the USA), Lithuania and Montenegro with artillery capacities and Special Forces of Bulgaria and Albania.
