The good cooperation of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) with civilian institutions, as part of the unit’s mission, especially with local governments and companies in its area of responsibility, is always of mutual interest.
As part of the continuous civilian – military cooperation with the local self-government of Veles, the Commander of TRADOC, Brigadier General Metodi Hadzi Janev, met with the Mayor of Veles, Ace Kocevski to discuss the current cooperation and opportunities for its promotion.
Views and proposals for joint support in activities of common interest were exchanged at the meeting, as well as, the undertaken and planned measures implemented by the Army and the local self-government related to dealing with the pandemic caused by the virus COVID-19.
Confirmation of the good civilian military cooperation is the engagement of the Public Utility Company “Derven,” which in conditions when a number of members of the unit are engaged in other tasks in support of the citizens, helped mow the grass areas in the Alekso Demnievski Bauman barracks, where TRADOC is located.
