As part of the annual calendar for the activities of the General Staff and the Guidelines for Training Management in the Army, an annual training conference was held in the Army House in Skopje.
At the beginning of the conference, in the opening address, the Director of the General Staff, Major General Zoran Mileski, emphasized that the planning of the annual activities for training and exercises is of great importance for the execution of the mission and tasks of the commands and units of the Army, but also for expressing the needs for the successful realization of the training.
The conference was opened and led by the Chief of the Training and Exercises section at the General Staff, Colonel Vladimir Stojanovski, who emphasized the importance of coordinating the Army’s training activities and the training goals to be achieved for the coming year.
Within the framework of the conference, the Plans for Training and Exercises for the next year 2023, the inter-army activities, as well as the operational requirements for the necessary means to support the training and the necessary financial resources for the planned activities for training and exercises in the Army were reviewed and coordinated.
The conference was attended by representatives from the organizational units of the General Staff, the chiefs of the sections responsible for training and exercises (J/G/A/S-7) from subordinate commands and units, and the Command Sergeant Major of the Army.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Lt. Col. Vasko Gjurchinovski, was present at the conference during the announcement of the conclusions.
