The members of the 4th Infantry Battalion (4IBn) from the composition of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1IBde) traditionally commemorated the day of the death of the national hero “Chede Filipovski – Dame”, whose name is given to the barracks in the Kichevo garrison.
On the occasion of the Patron Day, delegations from the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia and a delegation of the Union of Fighters of Kichevo municipality laid fresh flowers in front of the bust of the national hero “Chede Filipovski – Dame” which is located in the Alley of the Greats in the barracks.
The Commander of the 4th IBn, Lieutenant Colonel Goran Trajanoski in his speech, spoke about the life of the national hero “Chede Filipovski – Dame”, about the stormy life path and the rich military-political career, about the man who always fought for justice and freedom for his people.
The Patron Day was attended by the Deputy Commander of the 1IBde, Colonel Goran Petrushevski, accompanied by personnel from the command and staff of the brigade.
Celebrating this day and remembering the victims, we continue the traditions of our past with respect and gratitude, we bow to the national hero “Chede Filipovski – Dame” and it is our responsibility to remain in the memory of future generations.
