The Commander of the 1st Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski and the Commander of the Air Force WING, Colonel Igorcho Stoimenovski welcomed the Defence Minister of Portugal, Maria Helena Carreiras who visited the Command and Headquarters of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1InfBde) and the Pilot Training Center in the military barracks Strasho Pindjur in Petrovec, on September 12, 2023.
The Defence Minister of Portugal, Maria Helena Carreiras was briefed about the mission of the unit, formation setting of the unit, its capabilities and capacities, available equipment, modernization process within the unit, and achieved NATO capability targets. Afterwards, the Portuguese Minster of Defense visited the Pilot Training Center.
