Today, in the premises of the First Infantry Brigade (1st InfBde), a delegation from the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Norway, welcomed by the Commander of the 1st IBde, Brigadier General Sashko Lafchiski visited the Command and Staff of the 1st InfBde
As part of the visit, the delegation had a short meeting with the Commander of the unit, as well as a briefing on the mission of the unit, the formation, the capabilities and capacities, the equipment at its disposal, the modernization process and the achieved NATO goals, as well as on the future plans for development of the unit.
The purpose of the visit is to exchange experiences and to look at the possibility of carrying out joint engineering projects between the Engineer Battalion of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Engineer Battalion of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Norway, primarily regarding the development of the army training area “Krivolak”.
