On 6 November 2025, a delegation from the Defense Attachés’ Association (DAA), accredited in the Republic of North Macedonia, visited the 3rd Infantry Battalion (3rd IBn) of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st IBde). They were welcomed by the Deputy Commander of the 1st IBde, Colonel Blerim Ismaili, the Commander of the 3rd IBn, Lieutenant Colonel Mile Stanoevski, and members of the command and staff of the 3rd IBn.
During the visit, the command and staff personnel of the 3rd IBde briefed the DAA delegation, on the organizational structure of the unit, its tasks, activities, as well as the challenges and plans for the upcoming period.
Following the presentations, the command and staff personnel of the 3rd IBn answered the Attachés questions regarding the current and future activities of the unit. A tactical-technical display of the weapons and equipment used by the unit was also held.
The Attachés were introduced to cultural and historical landmarks in that part of the country through visits to the Painted Mosque in Tetovo and the Leshok Monastery in the village of Leshok.
The visit of the Defense Attachés to the units of the 1st IBde is a regular activity carried out based on the Cooperation Programme between the Ministry of Defense and the Defense Attachés’ Association accredited in the country.
