On 5 March 2026, at the barracks “Ilinden” in Skopje, the Reconnaissance and Intelligence Battalion (RecceIntelBn) hosted an official visit by the Association of Defence Attachès (ADA) accredited to the Republic of North Macedonia.
During today’s visit the Attachès were introduced to the history and organizational structure of the unit, its mission and tasks, current and planned activities, as well as the challenges and future plans for the unit in the upcoming period.
While visiting the training area at the barracks “Ilinden”, part of the regular training conducted by the members of the RecceIntelBn was presented to the delegation and they had the opportunity to see some of the unit’s weapons and equipment.
This visit was organized with the aim of strengthening international military cooperation, exchanging experiences and getting to know the capabilities, tasks and ongoing activities of the unit.
With the realization of this visit, the RecceIntelBn once again confirmed its commitment to professionalism, transparency and continuous development of its capabilities in accordance with the national priorities and contemporary security challenges.
