In the period from the 5 to 8 May 2026, service personnel of the Second and Third Infantry Battalions within the First Infantry Brigade actively participated in the environmental campaign “Spring Cleaning Weekend 2026,” the largest volunteer initiative for environmental protection.
As part of the activities aimed at raising public awareness about the importance of a clean and healthy environment, Army service personnel carried out cleanup activities at previously mapped locations, in coordination with employees of the “Shar Mountain” National Park and the Municipality of Shtip.
Through their active participation and personal engagement, Army service personnel once again confirmed their commitment to environmental protection, making a concrete contribution toward improving the common good and creating a cleaner and healthier environment for the citizens of the country.
