On the 12 May 2026, in accordance with the Annual Training Calendar of the Command and Staff of the 1st Infantry Brigade (1st InfBde), key personnel from the Brigade, together with the subordinate units, conducted a commander’s reconnaissance in the area of responsibility in the western part of the country, in the wider region of Mavrovo and Debar.
The purpose of this activity was reconnaissance of the terrain as part of tactical planning training and assessment of the military-geographical characteristics of the area, organization of defense, as well as methods of cooperation and coordination with other relevant entities in the field.
As part of the activity, service personnel of the 1st Infantry Brigade visited the women’s monastery “Rajchica” near Debar, as well as the village of Gari, where they had the opportunity to become more closely acquainted with the cultural-historical and natural features of the region.
