On 21 May 2026, 73 pupils aged seven from Primary School “Joakim Krchoski” in Skopje, accompanied by their teachers, visited the Air Force WING (afWING) as part of an educational and informative activity.
During the visit, the pupils had the opportunity to learn about the main tasks and role of military aviation through conversations, presentations, and practical demonstrations. The afWING personnel presented the work of the aviation units in a simple and engaging manner, as well as the importance of professions related to aviation.
The youngest visitors showed particular interest in the profession of a pilot and in the operation and maintenance of aircraft. As part of the activity, they had the opportunity to closely observe some of the aircraft used by the Army and to learn more about their purpose and operational use.
The visit was conducted in a positive and interactive atmosphere, during which the pupils actively participated by asking questions and demonstrated great curiosity about aviation and the work of the Army.
Through activities such as this, the afWING continues to strengthen cooperation with educational institutions and contribute to bringing aviation and military professions closer to the younger generation.
