Today, 22 May 2026, the two-week Course for Giving Briefings in English Language (CGBEL 1/26) was successfully completed at the Foreign Language Center (FLC) in the barracks “Ilinden” in Skopje. This year’s course included participants from various Army units, such as the Training and Doctrine Command, Special Forces Battalion, Signal Battalion, Air Force WING and Infantry Brigade.
CGBEL 1/26 is a specialized course designed for personnel expected to gain necessary skills for delivering military briefings in English in an international environment. During the course, participants had the opportunity to acquire and practice the skills for planning, preparation, and giving military briefings in English. The four types of military briefings: information, decision, mission and staff briefing were studied.
Throughout the course, the participants delivered two, three, five, and ten minute briefings, implementing all the essential elements of military briefings and received appropriate feedback. The course was conducted by four teachers from the Foreign Language Center with extensive teaching experience, as well as professional training in materials development and specialized courses design.
The Deputy Commander of the Training and Doctrine Command, Colonel Darko Stojkoski awarded certificates for successful completion to the participants at the end of the course.
