At the barracks “Aleksо Demnievski-Bauman” in Veles, a course for network support of communication and information systems was successfully conducted from the 1 – 5 June, 2026. Service personnel from several commands and units of the Army participated in the training, which was delivered by expert service personnel from the Training and Doctrine Command.
The course objective was upgrading the professional knowledge of service personnel from the signals branch in the field of administration and maintenance of computer networks. During the training, participants acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge in configuring network devices, managing user profiles, protecting information systems, and troubleshooting technical problems in a network environment.
The course focused on application of modern methods and procedures in order to have uninterrupted functioning of communication and information systems, in accordance with Army regulations and the standards applied in NATO operations and missions.
After finishing the course, the Chief of Staff, Colonel Goce Filiposki awarded certificates to the participants for successfully completing the program. In his address, Colonel Filiposki emphasized that continuous professional development is a key factor for the improvement of human resources and maintaining a high level of operational readiness of the Army.
By conducting this training, the process of strengthening the capacities of service personnel in the field of communication and information systems continues, because they play a significant role in supporting Army command and mission execution.
