The Chief of the General Staff of the Army, Major General Sashko Lafchiski, held a formal meeting today with the newly appointed Defence Attaché of the United Kingdom, Lieutenant Colonel Denise McMahon.
During the meeting, Major General Lafchiski congratulated Lieutenant Colonel McMahon on her appointment and wished her a successful tenure. He expressed confidence that cooperation would continue to develop in a spirit of mutual trust, partnership, and shared commitment through joint activities, training events, exercises, and professional support.
The United Kingdom remains an important defence partner, and the Army continues to actively contribute to the further strengthening and deepening of the bilateral cooperation.
