In addition to the foregoing continuous engagement of two MI 8/17 helicopters by the Aviation Brigade of ARM, approximately sixty servicemen of ARM joined the fire extinguishing near the village of Trebovlje yesterday.
Two infantry platoons of the fourth battalion of the 1st Infantry Brigade of ARM from Kichevo, starting yesterday afternoon and continuing during the night without interruption, are engaged in putting out the fire and building a protective belt in order not to let the fire spread to the Trebovlje village.
The servicemen of ARM made maximum effort during the night and managed to stop the fire spreading to the houses in the village. ARM will continue to be engaged in putting out the fire with the helicopters which have used more than 780 tons of water starting from 27 July.
The engagement of ARM servicemen in the area of the municipality of Makedonski Brod will continue as long as it is necessary.
