On 21st March 2014, as a part of the civil-military cooperation between the Air Force Brigade and civilian structures, a visit to Air Force Brigade (AFBde) was carried out by the high school students from the gymnasium “Josip Broz Tito” from Skopje.
The aim of the visit was for the students to become acquainted with the profession of military pilot, as well as to learn something about the arms, equipment and the everyday duties of the brigade. The students upon arrival were greeted by the AFBde Commander Colonel Kire Kolevski, and then there was a presentation about the security of the air space, the role of AFBde in peace and wartime conditions, motivation for being a pilot and other.
The students had an opportunity to meet some members of the AFBde service personnel and become familiar with their tasks and duties during their visit.
The young visitors could also see and enter the aircrafts of AFBde, and at the same time they were given more details about the aircrafts by the pilots and the flying technicians.
At the end of the visit the students were thrilled by all that has been shown, and most of them expressed their wishes to become future ARM pilots.
The visit was rounded up with the teachers from the gymnasium” Josip Broz Tito” presenting the Commander, the Deputy Commander and the AFBde Chief of Staff with a certificate of appreciation.
