In the period from March 3 th to 6th, 2023, a seminar in the field of Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) on the topic of ‘Team for Civil-Military Cooperation through the Spectrum of Uniform Land Operations’ was held at the Army House in Skopje, supported by the General Staff (GS) of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia in cooperation with the Department of Military Cooperation with the US Armed Forces.
Seminar attendees comprised 24 representatives of the GS, subordinate commands and units of the Army, whereas seminar trainers were a team of CIMIC experts from US Army Command for Europe and Africa.
Different topics were covered at the seminar, among which were familiarization with the ‘Spectrum of Uniform Land Operations’ and resilience versus civil preparedness. The process of project management, on a tactical and strategic level, was elaborated, as well as practical activities in the area of project management.
This seminar represents part of the activities organized by US Army Command for Europe and Africa which focuses on CIMIC in order to strengthen the expertise and improve army units in this area, as well as, how to conduct such activities in CIMIC teams in multinational environments as peace support operations and international exercises.
On the last day of the seminar, with an appropriate closing ceremony seminar attendees received certificates of attendance.
