On the 06.03.2015, students of the High School of Economics “Vasil Antevski – Dren” in Skopje visited the military barracks of Ilinden and the Military Police Battalion (MPBn) as part of its civilian and military cooperation.
During their visit, the students had a chance to learn about the work of MPBn personnel, their everyday activities and their experience gained on the peacekeeping missions.
The unit organized a technical display for their visitors presenting a part of the military police equipment, weapons and vehicles used in the line of work and tracking dogs which are used for detecting explosive devices in vehicles.
At the end of their visit there was a “military” lunch at the mess hall in the Ilinden barracks where the students discussed their impressions of the visit.
The Army of Republic of Macedonia organizes this type of visits for civilians in order to bring the citizens closer and to show the work and activities of the ARM personnel.
