Today, 03.06.2014, the force protection company of the European Union Battle Group (EUBG 2014-2) arrived at the region for deployment of the battle group in Saint Hubert in Belgium, where they started the preparations for the upcoming exercise “Quick Lion 14 “.
In the course of the day, the company staff received the material resources necessary for life and work during the execution of the exercise (tents, communication means, field beds, etc…).
In terms of preparation, members of the Belgian Army conducted a safety briefing and a short training on how to use the distributed equipment.
Later in the day, the company contingent started the implementation of the regular tasks of the exercise or protection of the Command Force and EUBG Staff 2014-2.
In the course of the following day, the company is going to resume regular activities and start the planned training. The training will be attended by the ARM headquarters personnel participating in the exercise.
