Army delegation led by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Major General Azim Nuredin attended the Distinguished Visitors Day at the international military exercise “Immediate Response 19” which takes place at the military TA “Eugen Kvaternik” in Slunj, Republic of Croatia.
On the Distinguished Visitors Day, during the second part of the international military exercise “Immediate Response 19”, the delegation met the members of the Rangers platoon of the Special Operations Regiment who are part of the exercise in Croatia since 20 May.
During this period, the members of the Rangers Battalion performed complex tactical tasks with military vehicles in accordance with the given events and incidents and they showed their high dedication and professionalism.
Before this, 25 members of the Air Defence Battalion and a medical team took part in the first phase in Cerklje, Republic of Slovenia.
Among the benefits of being part of this exercise are improving the interoperability and the regional cooperation between the countries and the compatibility in conducting the NATO procedures and the communication between the army members.
During this year, the members of the Army will participate in 30 military exercises in other countries.
