After the first tour of military personnel, engineer tools and technical equipment of the US Army 15th Engineer Battalion stationed in Europe (15th ENGBn/ US Army) arrived at ATA ‘Krivolak”, on 21st March, 2021 began the joint activities and training – part of the preparation and organization of the facilities for successful conduct of military exercise ‘Decisive Strike 21’.
The aim of the joint training of Operations Command Engineer Battalion (ENGBn) and the 15th ENGBn/ US Army members is , through joint activities of both armies to complete building and organizing the
roads at ATA Krivolak, to build exercise and training facilities, warehouses, shooting ranges, landing sites for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), and other.
Completion of all planned activities in a set deadline is very challenging, but having in mind the fact that the two Engineer units have a long history of cooperation, we can expect quality and timely realization of their duties.
The activities will continue until the 15th May, 2021 in order to achieve the goal for joint training and creating optimal conditions for conduct of exercise ‘Decisive Strike 21’. Besides, this activity will further more upgrade the capacities and infrastructure at ATA Krivolak, which after our full-fledged NATO membership became a modern military training centre, offering unique conditions for carrying out military exercise activities.
