In the period between 09.09. – 22.09.2015 ARM members who are staff personnel participated in the exercise “Immediate Response 15” conducted simultaneously in the Republic of Slovenia, The Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Croatia.
The activities of the exercise were conducted at the army training area “Eugen Kvarenik” in Slunj, in the simulation center in Zagreb, at the assault course in Postojna and at the simulation center in Grafenwoehr .
ARM members were deployed and performed assignments in various staff position and levels in the formational structure of the exercises, at all locations where it was conducted.
The engaged participants showed commitment and professionalism while conducting complex assignments and activities according to the scenarios and incidents given at the exercise.
“Immediate Response” is an exercise which is organized by the Command of the US Army in Europe and is carried out each year in the above mentioned locations. Members of the following armies participated at the exercise: the United States of America, The Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Croatia, the Republic of Macedonia, The Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Montenegro and Kosovo Protection Corps.
The purpose of this exercise is to improve the interoperability and the compatibility in the process of military decision making, as well as procedures and communication among NATO armies and PfP countries.
In addition, this exercise improves regional cooperation between the participating countries and enhances their ability to conduct NATO led operations.
