Today, 9th of April 2014, early in the morning, declared Mid Infantry Battalion Group marched from military barracks “Boro Menkov”, Kumanovo to Army Training Area (ATA) “Krivolak”. They performed two offensive operations in the area of “Djidimirci” as one of the first combat activities, which marked the start of the assessment in accordance with NATO Operational Ability Concept.
At the ATA “Krivolak”, MIBG will be assessed while dealing with different situations and incidents, by doing the following assignments: road block, convoy escort and convoy attack, dealing with detected explosive device, setting permanent and mobile checkpoints, foot and reconnaissance patrol, dealing with artillery attack of a base, cordon and search, dealing with contaminated area, MEDEVAC, CASEVAC and etc.
The assessment of Light Maneuver Hospital (LMH) is performed by implementing standard operation procedures for MASCAL (Mass Casualties). They will show: giving first aid, admission, triage, surgeries, stabilizing and air medical evacuation in case of more serious medical treatment.
By the end of the day a project has been realized with Civil and Military Cooperation. ARM, especially the participants of the military exercise “Macedonian Flash -10 “ and LMH, donated food and other snacks to the Special Institution for Mentally Disabled Persons in Demir Kapija.
