In accordance with the bilateral cooperation plan with Italy, a seminar on Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC), titled “CIMIC Tactical Operator”, was held at the Army House from 15 to 17 October.
The opening remarks were delivered by the Deputy Chief of the Civil Military Cooperation Section, Colonel Violeta Kostadinova, who expressed gratitude to the Italian guests for their collaboration. She emphasized that this activity is part of an ongoing process to meet NATO capability targets and to build the Army’s capacity in the field of CIMIC.
The delegation from Italy was led by members of a mobile training team from the Multinational CIMIC Group (MNCG), based in Motta di Livenza, Italy. The seminar was attended by members of the Army assigned to positions related to civil-military cooperation.
This activity is the result of fruitful bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Italy, which is expected to continue in 2025.
