The Director of the General Staff of the Army, Brigadier General Simeon Trajkovski, accompanied by a team of experts from the General Staff, participated in expert talks about NATO standardization and defense planning with Directorate 2 of the General Staff of the Hellenic Armed Forces, from the 12th to 13th October, at the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps in Thessaloniki.
General Trajkovski, during the talks with the Armed Forces of the Hellenic Republic, meet with the NATO Corps Commander, Colonel General Paris Kapravelos and the Chief of Staff, Major General Georgios Kalampokas and discussed the contribution of the Army to this command, the ongoing cooperation and possibilities for its improvement.
During the expert talks, which are part of the planned bilateral army activities with Directorate 2 of the Hellenic Armed Forces, experiences were exchanged in the area of NATO standardization and defence planning, equipping and modernization, and support of the host nation.
It was agreed that the military bilateral cooperation between the two armies so far was a sound foundation for its further growth and enhancement in all areas of interest.
