Based on the Military Contact Program with the United States for 2026, the “Basic Course for Logistics Officers” was conducted from 4 to 8 May 2026 at the Army House.
The course was delivered by instructors from the U.S. Defense Security Cooperation University, and was intended for young logistics officers and non-commissioned personnel in the Army.
The aim of the course was, through lectures and group work, to familiarize participants with NATO logistics, the principles and functions of logistics, processes in operational logistics planning, preparation of logistics assessments, identification of challenges, and finding solutions to overcome them in order to ensure continuous logistic support.
This course, as well as future planned courses, will enable the training and qualification of logistics personnel to deal with logistic challenges.
