During the two-day training held at the Supply and Transport Center of the Logistics Base, Army personnel were introduced to the proper methods of storing, setting up, and using the tents provided under the European Peace Facility, as part of the Army’s Equipment and Modernization Program.
These high-quality tents, which fully meet the Army’s standards for accommodating personnel in field conditions, are primarily intended for the declared units. Furthermore, the tents feature rapid and easy installation, high water resistance, and stability in various weather conditions, significantly enhancing the operational effectiveness of the units.
The Army General Staff, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Defense, continues to work on improving unit capacities through the provision of mobile, high-quality and sophisticated equipment compatible with NATO Alliance standards.
