On the occasion of marking the fifteenth anniversary since their death a delegation from the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence paid tribute to the eight ARM soldiers killed at the locality Ljubotenski Bachila. The delegation laid wreaths of fresh flowers at the monument of the defenders located in village Ljubanci.
In honor of the fallen ARM soldiers the delegations from the General Staff and the Ministry of Defence and the families of the soldiers laid wreaths at the memorials in Ilinden barracks and in village Volkovo.
On August 10th, 2001 Tome Badarovski, Goce Chankulovski, Branko Janev, Tomislav Nastevski, Marjancho Boskovski, Ivica Zlatevski, Tome Dimovski and Rade Jankovski, all members of the reserved forces of ARM, were killed by a mine activated near the military vehicle in the locality Ljubotenski Bachila.
