On the occasion of marking the eighteenth anniversary since their death, a delegation from the Ministry of Defence and the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia paid tribute to the army soldiers killed at the locality Ljubotenski Bachila, by laying fresh flowers at the memorials in village Ljubanci and Ilinden barracks in Skopje.
Tribute to the killed soldiers was paid at the memorial in village Volkovo as well.
On August 10th 2001, Tome Badarovski, Goce Chankulovski, Branko Janev, Tomislav Nastevski, Marjancho Boshkovski, Ivica Zlatevski, Tome Dimovski and Rade Jankovski, all members of ARM reserved forces, were killed when military vehicle hit two antitank mines on the road near the locality Ljubotenski Bachila.
