Today, 19th February 2015, in the Army House in Skopje a meeting attended by the Sergeant Majors of ARM commands and units was held.
In his opening statement the Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Gorancho Koteski stressed the importance of this meeting, conducted at the beginning of each year, since it is the right moment to make decisions which would add to work success. On this occasion General Koteski emphasized the importance of the Non Commissioned Ranks which are the foundation, whereas higher ranks represent improvement and upgrading. He further accentuated the importance of NCO ranks in the chain of command: team commander-platoon commander-company commander, which is basis for strengthening combat readiness.
In the course of the meeting the senior Non Commissioned Officers from the first subordinated commands and units of ARM analysed their activities in 2014, pointed out the challenges faced and presented proposals for overcoming them.
In the end it was concluded that training, honour and work are common features and norms that every member of the NCO corps should respect and seek to empower.
