The Chief of the Army’s General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, after participating in the meeting of the DECI initiative in the Republic of Croatia, paid an official visit to the Armed Forces of Serbia today, as part of the planned bilateral army activities.
General Gjurcinovski stayed at the General Staff of the Army of Serbia today, where after being welcomed with military honors, he had a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff, General Milan Mojsilovikj.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral military relations, the participation and cooperation of the two armies in regional security initiatives, as platforms that contribute not only to building good neighborly relations and mutual trust, but also to strengthening regional stability and security.
As part of the visit, General Gjurchinovski together with the delegation visited the Military Academy in Belgrade, where the capacities of this institution were presented to him, after which he had a meeting with the Minister of Defense Milosh Vuchevikj.
The regional initiatives in which Serbia and North Macedonia participate are the SEDM initiative, the Balkan Medical Forces, the B-9 initiative of the Chiefs of General Staff and the Center for Security Cooperation – RACVIAK through which the member states promote mutual cooperation and understanding.
