The Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Vasko Gjurchinovski, following his agenda to visit the subordinate commands and units of the Army, today visited and informed members of units stationed at military barracks ‘Kuzman Josifovski – Pitu’ in Tetovo.
The Chief of General Staff informed the units about the Army current engagement in assisting the institutions, implementation of NATO integration process, Army transformation process and future tasks and activities awaiting the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia.
Accentuating the engagement and contribution of Army members in dealing with the pandemic caused by the virus ‘KOVID – 19’, General Gjurchinovski commended all Army members who carried out given tasks during the crisis in a dignifying and professional manner, meeting the expectations of the citizens, state leaders and the General Staff.
The information briefing was also attended by Commanders of commands and units superior to Tetovo Garrison: Commander of the Operations Command, Major General Pavle Arsoski, 1st Infantry Brigade Commander, Brigadier General Besnik Emini.
In the course of this month the Chief of the General Staff visited Army units at Kichevo and Skopje Garrisons, and will make a tour of the rest of the units.
