The Chief of General Staff of ARM, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski held a working meeting with Colonel Ahmet Leka, the non-resident Defence Attaché of the Republic of Albania to the Republic of Macedonia.
At the meeting, General Velichkovski congratulated him on the appointing of the Brigadier General Bardil Kolchaku as the new Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Albania, and he also wished Colonel Leka a successful realization of the duties on the newly assigned position.
At the meeting, they talked about the possibilities for deepening the bilateral cooperation between the two armies by using the capacities for training, military education, as well as exchange of professional experience in defence.
The armies of the two countries have been cooperating in several areas of the defence, on a bilateral level, as well as on a regional level as part of the regional cooperation A-5 and B-9 initiative.
