Today, August 15, according to the program for celebration of “August 18” – the ARM day, “Ilinden” barracks in Skopje hosted a blood donation activity for the ARM members accompanied by the Chief of the General staff of the ARM, major-general Gorancho Koteski, the Deputy Chief of the General staff, major-general Naser Sejdini, and the Director of the General staff, brigadier general Dimche Petrovski.
Blood donation activity was organized in “Boro Menkov” barracks in Kumanovo and “N.H. Strasho Pindjur” barracks in Petrovec, besides the “Ilinden” barracks, and a total number of 400 blood units are gathered so far. Humanitarian action has been performed according to the program for celebration of the “August 18” and currently it encompasses actions for clothes and shoes donations by the ARM members and so far over 50 packages of clothes and shoes have been gathered. Part of the gathered items is donated in the local organizations of the Red Cross, and the rest in the Nongovernmental organizations that support these humanitarian activities. Humanitarian activities which are performed by the ARM members will continue in the next few days unselfishly and in mass numbers.
