Today, the 9th of November, there was a celebration for the Day of the Electronic Reconnaissance Center (ERC) at the military barracks “Goce Delchev” in Skopje. The Electronic Reconnaissance Center (ERC) is part of the General Staff of ARM.
Under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Macedonia and the Supreme Commander of the armed forces, the 9th of November is declared as the Day of the Electronic Reconnaissance Center (ERC). This date was chosen because on that date the military branch of Electronic reconnaissance and Electronic Countermeasures was established in 1995.
There were many people at the celebration, including representatives of GS of ARM, former members and retired personnel of the unit, and representatives from civilian institutions which cooperate with the unit.
In order to celebrate this day there was a blood donation action and sport competitions.
At the ceremony, incentive measures, plaquettes, badges and certificates of appreciation were presented.
