The date March 28 has a special significance for the Army, as it was on this day that the General Staff was established. By commencing its functions, it played a crucial role in the formation of the Army, an event that took place 33 years ago, the day after the control over the country’s territory was taken and the last soldier of the JNA departed. Today’s event represents the second official commemoration since the decision of the President of the Country to designate the days of the commands and units of the Army.
